You can delete your DojoSync account and its associated personal data at any time. No phone call and no support ticket required.
Delete it yourself
- Sign in to the DojoSync app for iOS or Android, or on the web at app.dojosync.com.
- Open Profile, then Security (on iOS, Settings).
- Under Danger Zone, tap Delete Account and confirm.
Deletion takes effect immediately — there is no waiting period, and you'll receive a confirmation email.
If you can't sign in
Email support@dojosync.com with the email address on the account and the subject line “Account deletion”. We'll verify the request and complete the deletion within 30 days.
School owners and sole administrators
If you are the owner or the only administrator of a school, transfer ownership or promote another administrator first, so the school isn't left without access. The app will tell you if this applies to you.
What is deleted immediately
- Your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and profile photo
- Your password, active sessions, and two-factor authentication settings
- Push notification tokens and all notification preferences
- Your school membership, staff assignments, and family guardian links
- Your own student profile, if you train yourself, including any private progress videos
What is kept, and for how long
A small number of records are retained in anonymized form, attributed to “Deleted User” rather than to you:
- Payment and transaction records — retained for 7 years to meet tax and financial compliance obligations
- Chat messages and announcements you sent — retained so conversations stay coherent for other members of your school
- Attendance and registration records you created on behalf of others
- Audit logs of security-relevant actions — retained for 2 years
Student records held by your school
Profiles for children enrolled by your martial arts school belong to that school's own records and are not removed when you delete your account. To have a student's information removed, contact your school directly — or email us and we'll put you in touch with the right person.

Frequently asked questions
How do I create an account?
DojoSync accounts are created by your martial arts school. Ask your school's front desk or head instructor for an invite, or look for a QR code at your school's location. If you run a school, you can register one yourself at app.dojosync.com.
How do I RSVP for a tournament?
Go to the Tournaments tab, select a tournament, and tap RSVP. You can register each of your students and pay any coaching fees securely through the app.
How do I pay coaching fees?
When you RSVP for a tournament with a coaching fee, a Pay button appears on the tournament detail page. Payments are processed securely by Stripe — your school is the merchant of record, and we never see or store your card number.
How do I register for a belt test?
Go to the Events tab and find the upcoming belt test. Tap Register, select which students are testing, and complete payment if one is required.
I forgot my password
Tap “Forgot password?” on the login screen. Enter your email and we’ll send you a reset link. Passwords must be at least 12 characters with mixed case and numbers.
How do I add my child to my account?
Most students are added by the school when they enroll. If a student is missing from your account, ask your school to link them — front-desk staff can search existing students and assign them to your family.
I’m a school owner — how do I get started?
Register your school at app.dojosync.com. You'll be guided through setup including adding locations, importing students, and configuring your first tournament or event.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account yourself from inside the app — see Account & data deletion below for the steps and for what happens to your data.
